# FastX402 > Pay-per-call HTTP tools for AI agents. Each call costs $0.001 or a few cents in USDC on Base (eip155:8453) or Solana, paid per request with the x402 protocol. No account, no API key. How to call: request a tool with GET and query parameters, or POST a JSON body. The first answer is HTTP 402 with a PAYMENT-REQUIRED header; sign it with any x402 client (for example @x402/fetch) and repeat the request with the PAYMENT-SIGNATURE header. Failed calls (400 bad input, 502 upstream error) are not charged.
